At BARE Body Waxing Studio, your time, trust, and skin care results matter to us. Our policies are designed to protect your experience, honor our estheticians' time, and keep everything running smoothly.


You agree to the following terms and conditions by booking an appointment with us.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy

We are a small, locally owned studio with deep roots in Southwest Louisiana. When you book an appointment, you reserve dedicated time with a licensed esthetician. This time is valuable, and we structure our policies to respect your schedule and ours.

Appointment & Cancellation

Card on File Requirement:

 All clients are required to have a valid card on file to schedule appointments. This allows us to uphold the quality of service and protect against no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Cancellation Notice:

To avoid a fee, appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24–48 hours in advance. Certain services may require 72 hours' notice. You may cancel via the links provided in your appointment confirmation email or by calling us directly.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows:

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a 100% service charge.

  • Missed appointments without notice (No-Shows) will also be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

  • Clients with unpaid invoices will be unable to book future appointments until the balance is paid in full.

 

No-show clients will be placed on a walk-in-only basis and may not request a specific esthetician or pre-book appointments.

Late Arrival Policy

We understand that life happens, but we maintain a strict late policy out of respect for every client’s scheduled time.


Clients who arrive more than 5 minutes late may forfeit their appointment. In such cases, we will do our best to accommodate you, but this is not guaranteed and will depend on availability. If your appointment cannot be completed due to tardiness, it will be treated as a late cancellation, and a 100% service fee will apply.


Repeat late arrivals may be required to pay a nonrefundable deposit to secure future bookings. The deposit amount is at the discretion of BARE Body Waxing Studio and is non-negotiable.

Rebooking Deposit Policy (Late Rescheduling)

If you reschedule your appointment within 24–48 hours of your original time (or same day), a 50% nonrefundable deposit will be required to rebook.

 

  • This deposit will be applied toward your rescheduled appointment.

  • If you miss the rescheduled appointment, the deposit is forfeited, and the remaining 50% will be charged.


Important: Appointments not rescheduled by the end of the business day will be marked as a No-Show and will incur a 100% service charge fee.

25% Late Rebooking Fee (Chronic Rescheduling)

Clients who reschedule late (within 24–48 hours) two or more times will incur an additional 25% rebooking fee. This is not a credit, and it is not applied toward your service.

 

Here’s how it works:

  • The 25% fee is calculated from the original full-service price (before any credits, discounts, or promotions).

  • This is a nonrefundable, non-creditable fee charged in addition to any deposits or balances due.


This policy protects our team’s time and ensures fairness for all clients. We offer multiple tools (online booking, confirmation emails, and phone support) to help you easily manage appointments.

 

Clients who reschedule late three times or more will be placed on a walk-in only basis and may not request a specific esthetician or pre-book future appointments. Repeat offenders may be permanently restricted from booking at BARE.

Terms & Conditions

Walk-In Appointments

We gladly accept walk-in clients based on availability. The first available esthetician will perform services. We cannot guarantee walk-in accommodations, though you may request a preferred provider.

Waitlist & Same-Day Appointments

  • We offer a waitlist for clients who wish to be notified of cancellations or same-day openings.

  • Waitlist appointments are filled on a first-response basis and may be subject to regular or nonrefundable deposits.

Waxing Services for Minors

We welcome young clients with proper parental involvement and consent.

 

  • Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian book the appointment and be present at the time of service.

  • Bikini Line Waxing is permitted for minors aged 11 and older with parental consent.

  • Full Bikini or Brazilian Waxing is offered starting at age 15, with both the parent and minor’s complete understanding and agreement.

  • We do not perform Full Bikini or Brazilian services on minors aged 15 and under.

  • We reserve the right to pause or stop any service if the client becomes uncomfortable or noncompliant.

Accepted Communication Methods

To protect your appointment and avoid miscommunication, we kindly ask that all rescheduling or cancellation requests be made via:

Not Accepted:
Messages sent via Facebook, Instagram, website chat, app messaging, or email will not be considered valid forms of communication for appointment changes or cancellations.


Failure to cancel or reschedule appropriately through approved channels may result in late cancellation or no-show fees being applied.

All communication with BARE Body Waxing Studio must be conducted through the official business phone line. Directly contacting estheticians outside of approved channels is a violation of studio policy. Failure to respect this boundary may result in permanent removal from the client list.

Managing Your Appointments

BARE Body Waxing Studio provides multiple tools to help you manage appointments with ease, including our Online Booking Site and direct phone support. We understand that life gets busy—that’s why we’ve created flexible, client-friendly options to manage your booking.

Please remember:

  • Repeated no-shows, last-minute cancellations, or chronic rescheduling impact our service providers and other clients.

  • Clients with a history of policy violations may be subject to additional deposits or placed on a walk-in-only basis.

Refunds, Deposits & Payments

All service sales, product purchases, deposits, and gift certificates are final and nonrefundable.

Due to the nature of skincare, retail product sales are also final. In the rare case of a manufacturer defect or documented allergic reaction, an exchange may be considered at the discretion of the owner.

Refunds, Deposits & Payments

Deposits

  • Deposits are applied toward your originally booked service.

  • If you wish to use the deposit toward a different service or product, this will be approved at the owner’s discretion.

  • Deposits do not expire, but they are not redeemable for cash.

Account Credits

At BARE Body Waxing Studio, account credits may be issued for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Promotional rewards or giveaways

  • Social media shoutouts or client referrals

  • Customer service accommodations

  • Deposits carried forward

  • Loyalty gestures


Account Credit Terms:

  • Credits do not expire and remain on file for future use unless otherwise stated.

  • Credits are nontransferable and nonrefundable.

 

Credits cannot be used toward:

  • Service packages

  • Membership fees

  • Shipping fees

  • Gratuity or cash tips

  • Gift certificate purchases


Redemption Limits:

  • Credits issued for a specific service (e.g., facials, lash extensions) must be used only for that designated service type.

  • Credits may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for retail value.


No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy Regarding Credits:
If a client no-shows or cancels late (less than 24 hours' notice) and BARE Body Waxing Studio cannot process the scheduled payment, any account credits on file will be forfeited to cover the missed appointment.
 

Loyalty Points

  • Clients earn 1 loyalty point for every $1 spent on product purchases.

  • Points can be redeemed at a rate of 200 points = $1 value.

  • Loyalty points may be used on both service and product purchases.

  • Points do not expire and will remain on your account for future use.

  • Points cannot be applied toward packages, memberships, gift certificates, shipping fees, or gratuity.

  • Points are nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and cash.

  • All credit card transactions are subject to a 3% processing fee.

  • We do not accept checks. All payments are due at the time services are rendered.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their card on file is current and valid. Failed payments may result in service restrictions and additional fees.

Responsibility for Payment
Clients agree they are personally responsible for all charges related to services received at BARE Body Waxing Studio LLC, including any required deposits, and understand that payment is due in accordance with the studio’s payment and cancellation policies.

 

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • Clients who initiate a chargeback or payment dispute will have all future appointments immediately canceled.

  • Their account will be blocked from booking additional services until the dispute is resolved and payment is successfully returned to BARE Body Waxing Studio LLC.

  • We will formally contest all chargebacks through our booking and payment processor (Boulevard) and provide all necessary service documentation, including signed agreements, appointment logs, and communication history.

  • Accounts with unresolved disputes will remain inactive, and no exceptions will be made.

  • We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any billing or payment concerns prior to initiating a formal dispute, as we are committed to fair and transparent service resolutions.
     

Packages

  • Service packages are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

  • Packages expire 12 months from the purchase date.

  • Discounts, promo codes, and loyalty points do not apply to packages.

  • Refunds for packages are only considered under exceptional circumstances (e.g., relocation, major life event), and will be calculated based on the unused balance at full-price service rates.

Membership

Our BARE Privé Membership Collection is designed to reward loyalty with exclusive perks, savings, and premium skincare experiences. By enrolling in a Membership, clients agree to the following terms:


Commitment & Cancellation

  • All Memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment.

  • After the initial term, a 30-day written notice is required for cancellation.

  • Memberships automatically renew monthly, and billing is processed via a card on file.


Missed Payments

  • If a payment is declined, Membership benefits will be suspended until the balance is cleared.

  • Past-due accounts may be charged a daily fee equal to one Membership term.

  • Clients with unpaid balances may not book services or cancel their Membership until the account is current.


Usage & Benefits

  • Service vouchers expire 30 days after issue.

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations result in voucher forfeiture and full service charges at non-member rates.

  • Vouchers are valid for select services only (e.g., waxing, 60-minute facials, classic lash fills). Exclusions apply.

  • Free or discounted add-ons must be used with a paid service and expire monthly.


Additional Terms

  • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Guest passes (one per year) and birthday perks must be used within the eligibility period.

  • Members may be eligible for exclusive promotions not available to the public.

  • Online booking deposits are still required and will apply to non-voucher services.


Changes & Disputes

  • Memberships may not be canceled or modified online; requests must be made by phone or in person.

  • All disputes related to Membership participation will be resolved through binding arbitration under Louisiana law. Class actions are not permitted.

Gift Certificates

  • All gift certificate sales are final and nonrefundable.

  • Gift certificates are redeemable in-store only and must be presented at the time of service (digital or printed formats accepted).

  • We do not accept third-party gift cards or gift certificates not purchased directly from BARE Body Waxing Studio via our website or in-studio.

  • Lost or misplaced certificates will not be reissued without proof of purchase.
     

Promotional Discount Vouchers

  • BARE Body Waxing Studio reserves the right to offer and revoke promotional discounts at any time.

  • New Client 20% Off Discounts are valid for singular wax services only and can only be issued once.

  • Promotional Discounts and Vouchers cannot be combined with other offers, used toward gratuity, packages, memberships, shipping fees, or gift cards, or applied to previous purchases.

  • Vouchers must be redeemed towards the service they are for.

  • Expired promotions and vouchers will not be honored.
     

Service Menu & Pricing Updates

BARE Body Waxing Studio reserves the right to modify service offerings, pricing, and product availability at any time without prior notice.

General Studio Policies

To protect the calm, professional atmosphere you expect at BARE, we follow clear policies around appointments, guests, and behavior. These guidelines help us deliver the high-quality experience you deserve every time.

General Studio Policies

Children & Guest Policy

To ensure a relaxing and professional environment:

 

  • Children may accompany you only if seated in a stroller or able to wait quietly in the lobby.

  • If your child cannot remain seated for the duration of your appointment, we kindly ask that you reschedule.

  • Guests, including significant others, family members, or friends, must remain in the lobby during services unless explicitly permitted by your esthetician.

  • Our team reserves the right to refuse guests' presence in order to maintain privacy and focus during treatments.
     

Client Conduct

Our studio is a professional space offering licensed waxing and skin care services. We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior.

 

  • Harassment, vulgar language, or disrespectful conduct toward staff will result in immediate termination of service and permanent removal from our client list.

  • Any client suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave, and the full service fee will still apply.

  • Disruptive or aggressive behavior toward our front desk or team members will not be tolerated.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior

  • Failure to follow our studio policies

  • Health-related contraindications, open wounds, active infections, poor hygiene, or contagious skin conditions.

  • Signs of intoxication or suspected impairment


This is to ensure our space's safety, comfort, and professionalism for both clients and staff.
 

Medical Disclosures & Contraindications

Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant health and skincare information prior to any service.

  • This includes recent use of medications (e.g., Accutane, Retin-A), topical prescriptions, recent skin treatments, or medical conditions such as infections, rashes, open wounds, or recent surgeries.

  • Failure to disclose this information may result in service denial or adverse skin reactions, for which BARE Body Waxing Studio LLC is not liable.
     

Weather & Emergency Closures

In the event of severe weather, power outages, or emergencies, BARE Body Waxing Studio may cancel or reschedule appointments without penalty to the client. We will notify affected clients as early as possible. Fees will not apply to appointments canceled by the studio for these reasons.

COVID / General Wellness Policy

To protect the health of our clients and staff:

  • If you are feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or have tested positive for COVID, please contact us promptly to reschedule.

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule due to illness with at least 24–48 hours' notice. However, at the studio's discretion, late changes due to illness may still result in fees.

  • While face masks and proof of vaccination are not required per current local mandates, clients are welcome to wear masks during their appointments.


This policy is subject to change without notice based on public health guidance.
 

No Touch-Up Policy

BARE Body Waxing Studio LLC does not offer waxing “touch-ups."

 

Due to the natural hair growth cycle, it’s normal for a few hairs to appear shortly after waxing. This is not a service error but a result of varying hair stages.

 

We advise clients:

  • Do not shave or tweeze between appointments.

  • Allow hair to grow in fully for better long-term waxing results.

  • It may take a few consistent waxes for hair to synchronize in its growth cycle.
     

Personal Belongings & Lost & Found

Clients are solely responsible for their personal belongings.

 

BARE Body Waxing Studio LLC is not liable for any items lost, misplaced, or damaged while on the premises.

  • A lost and found is maintained at the front desk for misplaced items.

  • Unclaimed items may be donated or discarded after a reasonable period.

By booking with us, you agree to receive promotional communications via SMS and email. You may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link provided in messages.

Social Media

Photos or videos taken by BARE Body Waxing Studio for marketing purposes will only be used with client consent. You may opt out of all media capture at any time.

HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

We take your health information seriously. BARE Body Waxing Studio may use or disclose your protected health information (PHI) to provide services, process payments, and perform necessary business operations.

  • You have the right to request access to your PHI, restrict certain disclosures, and receive communications via alternative methods.

  • We will not disclose your PHI without consent unless required by law.

  • Full HIPAA guidelines are available upon request.


Complaints related to your privacy rights may be submitted to us or to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. We will never retaliate against clients for filing a privacy complaint.
